About the tour

"The research that was carried out on the Mondongo dish, which is part of the invaluable culture of those who were brought from the African continent as slaves, today they are part of the Plurinational State of Bolivia" “After the resale of the slaves from Potosí to Los Yungas, I made possible the African cultural expansion, among which the tripe can be highlighted. This dish originated as a special dish, which in the time of slavery was prepared and taken into account as a Sunday meal and prepared at parties such as weddings, baptisms, etc. "

I so enjoyed today's cooking tour with Mama Antonia. She is a delightful person who obviously loves cooking! Her meal looked delicious and I really wished I was there to partake of it! Mama Antonia, gracias y muy bien! The tour really went well with Renan giving the audio and Mama Antonia showing us her methods of cooking, the spices, the instructions. Really a treat and I hope to see more of Mama Antonia and her cooking! Thank you Renan for your "courage" to be in a kitchen where someone is cooking! I also want to say this was the first time I saw you without a mask and it was wonderful to feel like I was part of the family! Your warm welcome is always an encouraging pathway to a fun time with you and whoever is with you! Thank you again.
