About the tour

The Alasita miniature fair was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO) in 2017. At the fair, Bolivians buy miniatures, such as houses, cars, food, etc., with the illusion that they will come true. This tradition, which originated in pre-Hispanic times and gained acceptance in colonial times, is one of the most important traditional festivals in Bolivia.
