About the tour

Frankston Beach in Melbourne has very quickly built a reputation of one of the most saught after beachy attractions in Melbourne. There's so much to see and the sunset is unforgettable! We will take a moment to appreciate the tranquility of the moment, the crashing of the waves, and share positive stories with each other so that we feel more present and ready for our next task! We will also explore some beautiful sea sculptures that have been scattered near the beach. This will be an enchanting experience and the perfect dose of vitamin sea!

Meet Alexander

Alexander wants to live in a world filled with appreciation for other cultures, free travel and guacamole as a global currency (we’re allowed to dream right?!). “Storytelling has always been a passion of mine. Whether it’s it in the form of acting, writing or showing people around my captivating city. It feels great to express my passions in so many different ways” Alex says, while sipping on a decaf soy latte (a very common beverage in Melbourne, also known as Australia's coffee capital). Alexander believes that it would be a waste and disservice to his fellow humans to not show them around his backyard (well, not his actual backyard, but you get the picture). He’s dedicated to sharing his city’s beauty and history, and once and for all proving to people that kangaroos don’t just bounce around everywhere. Alexander has been running tours for the last 4 years, with his most popular tour being Melbourne’s Hidden Penguins (there you go, saved you a trip to Antarctica!). When he is not touring, Alexander works as an actor, filmmaker and blog writer.

What to expect

The tour will last about 50 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Melbourne. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

Stunning sunset at Frankston beach. Lots of interesting statues to see and it was so peaceful ‘sitting’ on the sand with Alex listening to the calming sound of the waves. Definitely recommend this tour.
