About the tour

Come and join me on a walk to the unique, one and only Margaret Island in the middle of the Danube river. It is also called the Greenheart of Budapest with its large green areas, old trees, flower gardens, and many other nice and interesting attractions. There is so much to show and talk about: Ruins of the St. Margaret Monastery from the 13th century, Water tower, Japanese- Garden, Little Zoo, Open-air Theater, Rose garden, Musical Fountains, Swimming pools, Thermal Bath, Sports activities and many more. Margaret Island is a true wonder of the city, locals' favorite spot. As it offers so many interesting spots, I will do the tour in 3 parts: this tour - Part 3- will cover mostly the South part of the Island: the Mini Zoo, the building of the old Casino, Athletic Center, the Centennial Monument, ( the Musical Fountain as well, when it will start operating again) , the views to the Danube river and from the Margaret Bridge over the Island and the city. We will finish the tour with this panoramic view. Looking forward to taking you around this whole wonderful Island :)

I have been guiding for 7 years and cannot imagine a better job! To me this isn't only about guiding. It is all about connection, wonderful experiences, friendship and inspiration that we get to share all together. I get excited each time I meet new guests and can't wait to share the beauty and soul of Budapest and the countryside. During my tours I always prepare some surprise for you :) Besides guiding, I love singing, photography, videography, lots of traveling, hiking , running, crossfit and healthy lifestyle. With me just get ready for a fun and entertaining experience :)

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Budapest with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 50 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Budapest. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

Gorgeous place! There are lots of great stuff to see on the island. Made me really wish I was there. Zsuzsi shows her love for the place by the way she talks about the surroundings. Don't forget to stay until the very end to get perfect views of the Danube river and the parliament. Stunning!
