Josep wants to take you to the famous Sagrada Familia in the quiet evening hours. This cathedral is the work of the famous bombastic architect by the name of Antonio Gaudi and was recently appointed his most famous site in the World. See it with the serene springtime illumination of the Nativity and Passion façades. See why Gaudí is such a praised genius beyond his unique aesthetical aspects, but because of his clever innovative structures. Impossible calculations, without computers, in his lifetime over a 100 years ago. An informative and yet entertaining tour for everyone.
"I started guiding when I was 17 as a tour director, and I've since traveled the world and lived in many cities to learn the 4 foreign languages that I now guide in. I have always loved to be among people from all parts of the planet, and I am so lucky now to be able to host them virtually in Barcelona," says Josep. Born and raised in Barcelona, Josep, or "Pepus" as everyone calls him, is a licensed guide with more than 25 years of experience showing people around his incredible city. He takes pride in his extensive knowledge of the masterpieces of Antonio Gaudi, the most outstanding architect of our time whose works include the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, and La Pedrera to name a few. He has hosted many distinguished guests, including foreign dignitaries, celebrities, actors, and 1000s of other visitors around his city. "An unforgettable memory was when I was told that I had to guide a personality whose name they could not disclose, and then I had to show Barcelona to the first man that had stepped on the moon. Neil Armstrong! I felt very honored!" he says. On his tours, you might also get to discover some culinary delights. Josep loves cooking up a gastronomical storm and if you're lucky, he might just take you along to a gourmet food tour, especially "Mediterranean cooking that they would not dare to order or try on their own…and then they end up loving it forever!" he laughs. Pepus is your man if you want to get under the skin of Barcelona, and discover the culture and history oozing from every street!

Joseph is an incredible tour guide. I find his extensive knowledge and ease at conveying information to be very enjoyable. The trips are so good I suspect he could even do a great tour about watching grass grow. He's simply one of the best!

We decided to take the La Sagrada Famila virtual trip with Josep last Saturday, as we wanted to see, what the church looks like now - 10 years after we had visited Barcelona in person. Josep is a very knowledgeable, experienced and entertaining guide. We enjoyed the virtual tour immensely and learned so many new details about the building. To put it in a nutshell: it was way more than just "the next best thing" compared to a real tour in person. And we will for sure take more virtual tours with Josep - and have already booked another virtual trip with another guide in Slowenia. Thanks for making those virtual tours possible and thanks to Josep for such a terrific experience!

A well researched tour with lots of photographs to show the interior given the building was closed. Despite having visited at least twice before I learnt new information. I would recommend this tour and look forward to future tours with Josep
