About the tour

Let’s wander the streets of Medieval Lviv, one of the most beautiful cities of Ukraine! You’ll explore Rynok Market Square, which is sprinkled with beautiful palaces and surrounded by the ancient Orthodox and Catholic quarters. You'll also discover temples of worship: Dominican and Assumption Church. And because Lviv citizens strongly believe that there's nothing better than a cup of coffee, you'll even get to see a traditional Lviv coffee house. Maybe then we will discover if the Lviv legend is true that their coffee beans are mined underneath the Market Square. An ancient pharmacy, post office, and restaurant, this is a tour you won't want to miss. Olena will even introduce you to Lviv's most famous citizen in the world. I'll bet that you've definitely heard of him!

Meet Olena Dvorkina

Olena Dvorkina

Olena is a local licensed guide in Lviv, Western Ukraine. While not a true Lviv citizen, being born in the South of Ukraine near Black Sea, Olena is still totally in love with the amazing city of Lviv! Her career as a guide started in 2015 when she was a part of Leopolis Jazz Fest, one of the most existing Lviv festivals. Since then, she has given more than 1,000 city tours for over 6,000 people from around the world. Olena strongly believes that Lviv is a unique city, not just in Ukraine, but in all of Europe. It's something like a hidden treasure, or as her friends might say: a European city with Ukrainien soul. Architecture, taste cuisine, beautiful language, local traditions and unforgettable atmosphere. One experience in Lviv with Olena and you'll never forget it!

very knowledgeable and informative about the history of the city and the many beautiful buildings that she showed us in Lviv. Beautiful city that I can’t wait to go to see and hopefully have Olena as my guide. Thank you

Olena needs to have her mike muffled as the noise around her spoilt the tour for me it was very distracting.

Lviv looks really beautiful but we didn't get to see that much of it - lots of time spent standing in the same places. and talking. Please consider those 'postcard moments' -there's a balance between showing and telling. I will come back but I'd like to see more!
