Today we are going to explore the historical center of Lucca, as if we were medieval pilgrims on the way to Rome. In fact, Lucca was one of the “must stop” places for pilgrims following the route of the Franks. Why? We are going to discover it together, as well as the cathedral with its very highly decorated façade with a lot of symbolism. A journey into legends between sacred and profane. Yes… this is also Lucca! Let’s get into the uniqueness charm of this town, let’s discover Lucca together!
Fabri is Italian, he is a licensed local guide and he lives in Tuscany. He studied at the University of Turin in Italy and at Wolverhampton University in UK. He has always had the passion for art history and for telling stories… finally in a magic day of 13 years ago he discovered that there was a job where these two ingredients are fundamentals: the tourist guide! Well, he found a job to love! He likes to meet people and to share his time and experiences: “it’s a great reciprocal way to learn and to grow” he says. Guess his favorite hobbies? Traveling, traveling, traveling! 😀
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Lucca with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 50 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Lucca. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

Lucca is beautiful, even in the rain. My wife and I enjoyed learning about the famous musicians who lived in Lucca, such as Boccherini and Puccini. We visited Lucca and walked around it on the wall, as well as walking through it, but you showed us places that we missed. Thank you!
