About the tour

Arguably the most famous statue in the western world, Michelangelo’s representation of the young shepherd turned hero and king is still one of the great attractions of Florence, a city with no shortage of masterpieces. But what makes this block of stone so special? The answer will be given as we wind our way through the streets of Florence, starting at the seat of religious power, the Duomo, and ending at the seat of political power, Palazzo Vecchio.

A very good guide, well prepared who knows a lot of special details and has a pleasant way to tell you things. Not annoying at all but keeps you interested and wanting to hear more. I only attended the last 15 minutes sadly enough but truly enjoyed it. I’m a guide myself in Friuli Venezia Giulia and this is the way I like a guide to be. Superb!
