Only join if you are interested in seeing this from a local's lens.* Colombia protest because we do not agree with the new government tax reform, and is very important that the world know about this because with this new reform many changes are coming that are affecting specially the middle class, due to the law proposes impose the collection of the value added tax (IVA) which in Colombia reaches 19%, to basic consumer products such as public services (water, electricity and gas), funeral services, electronic objects such as computer, and other services so far exempt and other injustices. Join me today as we meet along the traditional street "Calle del Colorado" to show once again the resistance of the Pastuso people to the nonconformity against the tax reform in a peaceful way, painting the asphalt with chalk.
