This is not a tour, but a presentation I will be giving from home that will combine various visual aids such as photos, videos, and more... The Tomb of King Herod - Herodium - is one of the most important Roman-Era sites in the country and the burial place of the famous Jewish Kings - Herod the great. Herod was known for his brutality, as he killed many rabbis, his own children, and of course - massacred the innocent children, as described in the New Testament. On this virtual tour from my home, we will explore this amazing site: The palace, the remains of the bathhouse, the royal steps and theater, the tomb and more… *This site is located 20 minutes drive from Jerusalem but has no signal at all and have many underground parts. I wanted to share this place with you – and that's why it is given to you in this format. Again - I will be guiding from home, and I hope you will enjoy this format!

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Jerusalem with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 60 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Jerusalem. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

This tour was a little but different, but wonderful. The guide ran his tour from his home using his computer screen to show sites all over the area. Very interesting and well done. Highly recommend.
