Vishu is a Hindu festival celebrated in Kerala. it is a very attractive and interesting summer celebration. Vishu Kani is the most important part of Vishu day. Elders will give "Vishu kai neettam"(money) to young people which is considered a blessing. Families will join together for lunch and "sadhya" is a traditional meal of Kerala that will be made and served. In the evening there will be beautiful fireworks. We will go to a Hindu house and will join their celebrations and will discuss about stories and myth behind vishu.

Very good of the family to let us in. I remained concerned at the welfare of the two rabbits confined to a small cage and not let out ever.
