This amble explores the Coastal Fynbos and views of the Peninsula Mountain Range. Join me to search for the worlds fastest bird, the Peregrine Falcon - and exploring spectacular views of Cape Town and False Bay off the beaten track. Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Cape Town with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing guide.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Cape Town. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the guide’s hard work, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

He knows so much about the area, history to ground plants and everything in between. He has a real passion for the area and it shows. I've been on 2 of his tours and am signed up for a 3rd. He has a peaceful easygoing personality, is easy to enjoy spending time with.

Kirsten is a very unique guide on VT and I'm so grateful to have him. Really incredible experience with him! Breathtaking views, knowledge of local flora and fauna, musical instruments, information about the area, wonderful postcards, South African accent... can't be more serene, calming and satisfying than that. I absolutely recommend because this experience is exceptional and spiritual.

So interesting and enjoyable yet educational as well. I ordered the book, "Dinosaurs, Diamonds and Democracy" through the link provided by Suzanne during the tour. Your readings from this book made me really interested in learning more. VT has opened my eyes to different cultures and to history in a way never before experienced. With local guides like yourself, it becomes more of an experience and not just a subject in school. Thank you for your interest in providing us with information and culture!
