About the tour

Croatia is full of historical monuments but also has so many amazing gems of nature. One of the most beautiful parts of this country is the Krka National Park. On this tour, you will get a chance to visit a truly breathtaking part of it – Skradinski Buk. The views and the scenes you will see tell a story: the story of Croatian beauty. You will hear some interesting facts about this natural phenomenon. You will learn about life in this area, what it was like in the olden days and what it is like today. Some old traditions are still alive. You will be interested to hear about the Krka hydroelectric plant that opened back in 1895. Thanks to the plant, the nearby town of Šibenik had electric streetlights before Rome, London, Vienna and some other major European cities did. Join us in exploring this part of the river Krka. Let the stories take you back in time. Experience the true nature of Croatia. Allow yourself to fall in love with Croatia.

He's in love with his country and would love to present its beauty, history and everything else about it.He was born in 1981 in Split, where he grew up. He still lives in this area and it would be hard for him to call any other place home. He's blessed with a wonderful wife and three children (two boys and a girl), who are his motivation and inspiration.Vjeran has worked as a licensed tourist guide since 2012, but has been involved in tourism since he was 14. After graduating from high school, with an emphasis on tourism, he obtained his undergraduate degree, again, in tourism. He really enjoys spending time with people with whom he can share why he's so passionate about Croatia.Simply said, he loves what he does! Join him in Split!

You could tell it was really hot today and Vjeran walks quite a ways on this tour. He still enjoyed himself and conveyed his passion for the landscape and his country. Krka is gloriously beautiful and this is a do-not-miss tour!

We loved Vjeran's easy going style and the way he interacted with his audience. Very informative - we joined his later tour too, which was equally good. We're planning an extended tour of Croatia next year and hope to draw on his expertise. We have already booked a number of his other tours
