About the tour

We invite you to dive into several epochs of the Russian history while exploring Alexander Gardens, the first public park in Moscow. The Park was opened in 1821 to celebrate Russia’s victory over Napoleon forces. "Your name is unknown, your deed is immortal"- while strolling down the Western Wall and Towers of Moscow Kremlin we will see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with an eternal flame. It contains the body of a soldier who fell during WW2 at the nearest point the Nazi forces intruded towards Moscow. We will see the Guard of Honour of the Kremlin Regiment, WW2 monument listing the names of Cities of Military Glory, an obelisk of the tercentenary of the Romanov dynasty. Walkways, flower gardens, fountains and monuments - in the very heart of Moscow, you won’t feel the hustle and bustle of the city, just silence and centuries-old history.

Anna Moscow

Anna is incredibly passionate about her job as a Moscow guide: every time she sees her guests catching their breath in a beautiful cathedral or smiling with a joy in the Red Square, she feels she's doing something right! As a true local, she knows that Moscow is an ever-changing metropolis and strives to communicate the diversity and contrasting characteristics of her native city - modern and ancient Moscow - at the same time. I so appreciated all of the history with the tour! I also appreciated the timing to see the changing of the guards. Awe inspiring. I had been to the Kremlin and gardens in 2019 and I learned so much more about this area. Wish we could have seen the St Basil's Cathedral and Red Square, but know that is a mile or more walk away, and always very crowded with people. Thank you for a wonderful tour! I had Russian tea and Apricot jam, (given to me by my Russian friend who lives in St. Petersburg), during the tour and it made it very festive!
