About the tour

This tour will show you a few most important places of Krakow's Ghetto established by German Nazis in 1941 in Podgorze district. It ended there with humiliation and extermination of Cracovian Jews as well as in different camps. Did you know that Schindler's Factory was one of many businesses that German Nazis occupied and used? Did you know of Righteous Among the Nations who, like Oskar Schindler, rescued Jews risking and losing their life so often? You will hear about this, about the tragedy and heroism, about life before, during and after WWII.

My first tour, but not my last! My neighbour told me about Heygo. The tour places were well chosen. I will be purchasing Christopher book, a gift for my husband. We both had many "after dinner" conversations with his father (born in 1910) who came to Canada as a teenager. My husband has become somewhat educated about WWII in Europe over the 50 years we have been married. Again thank you. Joanne Stasila
