About the tour

Kampala is well known as Pearl of Africa's capital city. Few know about the origins of Kampala which we will learn about as we explore the upper busy silent streets of Kampala. This street is also a centre for many travel agency and airline offices like KML, Ethiopian, KQ, etc. Get to see some of the city monuments like the gorilla, the Buganda King, and the independence monument in memory of Uganda's independence in 1962 from the British colonial masters. Also get a glimpse of the 59year old Uganda Parliament where the country's top leadership sits to make governance laws.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

It was interesting to see your city and I really liked the impala and gorilla statues. However, it was quite hard to watch your tour as the gimbal and therefore the picture was so unsteady. I left early because of that. I am sure it will improve with practice.
