About the tour

Beware the ides of March? Why? It's unlikely even Shakespeare could have predicted how his famous phrase would have evolved. On March 15th we will discover the sacred area of Largo Argentina, the place were Julius Caesar was killed by Brutus and Cassius, then his body was taken and left inside the Roman forum were he was Cremated. We will enjoy a nice walk to see the Statue representing the dictator, the place were he was murdered and the iconic place described by William Shakespeare were Marc Anthony did his speech in front of the body of Julius Caesar! We will talk about the moon, the Romans and the cats...visiting one of the largest cats community of Rome

I loved this tour. Sara is amazing. For those that complain that she is over...I love when she is over and shows us extra. I love her commitment and passion. This tour was an extra special treat.

If I could give 10๐ŸŒŸ stars I would. Seeing the cat sanctuary and friendly cats around an ancient Roman site was amazing. Learning that a former Italian opera singer is taking care of mostly disabled cats was a very touching story. Learning so much about the Ides of March and seeing Caesarโ€™s statue with red roses to commemorate his memory was also very touching. We also got to see the coliseum in the end which was amazing. Sara did a fabulous job on this tour.
