A community tourism project that offers the opportunity to see different native and migrant species of these animals, but also to learn about the customs of the local people. It is near Tiahuanacu, in La Paz. Do not have it you can lose and enjoy the place.
Renan is a well known local guide in Bolivia. He has lead many group tours all over his country since 2002 showing its beautiful landscapes and history. He has contact with the deep native people from his country. History, Culture and Tradition are his areas of expertise, making him a perfect host of Bolivia. He will take us to places like La Paz, Lake Titicaca, and maybe even the famous salt flats! Join him to share his love for his mother country, enjoying knowledge and his sense of humour!
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to La Paz with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 60 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from La Paz. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

I apologize for being so late in leaving this review. I enjoyed doing this tour the first time it was offered that I joined for a bit the second time it was offered while I was waiting for another tour to start. It was great to see so many birds on the lake - especially the huge flock of Chilean flamingos! and to hear about the new project the local people are starting to take tourists bird-watching. Highly recommended.
