About the tour

Half an hour from the center of Korčula, St. Anthony’s Hill is a protected area of nature with 102 steps to the top of the hill. At its peak sits 14th century St. Anthony’s chapel dedicated to St. Anthony the Abbot. The cypress alley that borders the steps to the top was planted in 1708, and the view from the top shows the stunning views of the island and its surroundings. In this tour, you will be able to explore an active, living beehive! You will learn about the importance of bees, their way of life, and a whole lot more about different products we can make out of honey; we will let you in on our production of olive oil and also teach you about amazing herbs of Korcula Island and its uses.

What a great tour! I learned so much about bees and honey. But more importantly, I spent an hour with Andrea and the beekeper (I didn't get his name) who are so good-natured! Highly recommend!
