About the tour

Gnocchi alla Sorrentina is a delicious main course: potato gnocchi, seasoned with a tomato and basil sauce, enriched with mozzarella fiordilatte and grated parmesan. A traditional recipe of the Campania Region, now popular all over the Italian Peninsula and very appreciate also oversees, based on few simple ingredients and very easy to make, which guarantees a sure success. Accompanied step by step along with the procedure, you will understand that making gnocchi has never been so quick and easy. If you choose to cook along with me please join the cooking class on time equipped with the following ingredients and tools: 2 cups 1/4 (400 grams) yellow potatoes already boiled for 1 hour prior to the cooking class and still hot at the time we meet 3/4 cup (90 grams) all-purpose flour 1/2 (70 grams) semolina flour extra flour to spread on the tray 1 teaspoon of salt 1 1/2 cup (350g)tomato sauce (passata) 2 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 5 basil leaves 1 mozzarella cheese (150g) 4 tbsp parmesan cheese 1 bowl 1 pot 1 frying pan coarse salt for boiling water 1 fork or a potato masher 1 big tray a sharp knife

What to expect
