About the tour

In this typical old fishing village, where the river meets the ocean, the sunset is absolutely stunning, a real event! When the afternoon ends, it's time for the sunset lovers to stop, sit down, breath in deeply, and join the many local Portuguese that come here daily, with their cameras, to catch the perfect moment. With the Natural Reserve of the estuary of the Douro on one side and the Marina on the other, let's unwind. Accompanied by couples in love, photography enthusiasts, children playing, dogs running, joggers, bikers, and people having a walk, everyone relaxing after a day's work. And through my eyes, understand why I chose to live in this area of the city!

Lovely guide. Even coming in very late, she greeted me, made me feel like I had always been a part, & discussed the area, showed around as the sun was setting. The lights coming on in the neighboring area. It was truly a lovely tour, with a delightful guide. I am looking into more of her tours. Thank you so much.
