About the tour

You are invited on my tours along the places of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, prominent Russian writer of XIX century. Crime and Punishment, Karamazov Brothers, Idiot - these are just a few among his great novels. Dostoyevsky made Saint Petersburg one of the main characters of his novels. The wonderful thing about Saint Petersburg is that it has preserved most of the houses, streets and embankments that the writer and the characters of his novels used to walk on. ⠀ Come join me on this journey back in time. In the Part II tour, we’ll be walking in the area that Raskolnikov knew like his own ten fingers. We’ll see Saint Petersburg with Raskolnikov’s eyes because this area of the city hasn’t changed much since late XIX century! I’ll show you the House of Sonya Marmeladova, the tower of Raskolnikov’s strength. And finally, I’ll take you to the house where the murder of the pawn broker lady must have happened.
