Isn't it a nightmare to arrive at a restaurant and discover 4 knives and forks, 2 spoons, 3 glasses on the table? Should you cut the salad? How many pieces of cheese can you take and what about the bread...? Too many rules! Also, how to Say hello: Bonjour? Enchanté? “La bise” (kiss on the cheeks)? Shake hands? A hug? Should you bring flowers or wine? On this very special tour, Patrick takes you to his own home and will explain in more details the French "savoir vivre” And lucky you, Patrick will even teach you how to cook his famous family dishes from Brittany : "La Galette Complète ". Be careful, don't tell him it is a crepe ! Patrick will explain the difference between "crêpe" and "galette". Disclaimer: allergen not provided.
Patrick isn't one to shy away from travel and adventure. "I was lucky enough to travel the world with my job, discover different cultures, and meet incredible people!" he says, after having explored multiple cities across Europe and Asia. On his tours, you may catch more than a surprise or two about Paris. "In fact, it is an everyday experience. I'm a native Parisian, but every day, I continue to discover new things, new secrets about Paris. It's a never-ending story," he laughs. It was his love for Paris that led him to become a guide. "I'm a father and a teacher, and I realized that my passion was to share my knowledge, so I decided to be a guide about one of my passion: Paris!" Patrick chips in. "I enjoy sharing the love and passion I have for my own city, Paris. Its monuments, its history, its gastronomy, its culture, and all of its little secrets. I can't wait to share all of these with you!" "At the end of my tour I always give a virtual bise - two in fact being a good Parisian!" he laughs.

Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Paris with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing guide.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Paris. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.
Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.

Received business call and missed most of it. Disappointed to have missed it.

I was expecting a tour of Paris. Was a bit turned off by the food on the sides of his mouth while cooking. Sorry :( Otherwise he seems to be a great communicator.

Patrick was as funny as ever, making cooking pancakes a breeze. It is not always, but he talked his way though the method, explaining why he did certain things. His travellers added to the banter making this a fun tour.
