About the tour

Micky and Adry will teach you how to prepare the perfect Italian Aperitivo: with the original Focaccia, the typical Bruschetta, and a glass of Prosecco/Spriz/Wine! A typical Italian dish tutorial, seasoned with curious stories about Italy's cooking traditions and tricks only certified Italians can offer! For the Focaccia: not a cooking-along tour (due to the leavening processes) For the Bruschetta: a cooking-along tour And if you wish to cook live with us equip yourself with: INGREDIENTS for the Focaccia - 500 g. all purpose flour (4 cups) - 300 ml. water at room temperature (1 1/2 cups) - 10 g. extra virgin olive oil (1 tbsp) - 8 g. salt (1.4 tsp) - 2 gr. fresh brewer’s yeast (0.4 tsp) - 150 ml. milk (2/3 cups) To season: - Salt flakes to taste - Rosemary to taste - 30 gr. Extra virgin olive oil (2 tbsp) - 15 ml. Water (1 tbsp) To grease worktop, pan and dough: - Extra virgin olive oil Tools: - A 26 cm (10 inches) diameter baking tray INGREDIENTS for the Bruschetta - About 10 pachino tomatoes (or cherry) - 2 cloves of garlic - Extra virgin olive oil (1 tbsp) - Fresh basil leaves to taste - Salt & ground black pepper - Cold cuts to serve with the Focaccia!

Micky & Adry

Adriano is an English and Spanish teacher and has Italian/Argentine heritage. He has been a TV host for a cooking show and he's an actor as well. Michela is a dancer/choreographer, singer and performer. She is also a craft projects ninja and she comes from a family of opera singers. Longstanding friends for 20 years now, the pair met at high school and have shared a love for languages and travel ever since! They are looking forward to welcoming you to Rome and showing you not only the sights but what it's like to be a local in this fabulous city!


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Rome with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 40 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Rome. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

I always enjoy tours with Micky and Adry. They explain in details and they have so much patience with everyone (it must be not easy at all), and they are super fun. Cooking tours with them are easy to follow, fun, and super well organised. I'm impressed they prepared 3 focaccias for us, plus the ambiance, the nice mood, the music... it all added up to an enjoyable tour! Gratzie! :)
