About the tour

Medellín, also known as the City of Eternal Spring, hosts an impressive Flower Fair every year on August. It is a whole week full of art, music, nature and of color and is a UNESCO cultural heritage festival. Come with me to visit the essence of the flower festival ¡the Silleteros! We won't be able to see the full parade until August but for now let's go inside a traditional family's home from Santa Elena who will show us live the assembly of the huge flower bouquet they carry on their backs during the parade. This is perfect for flower lovers, culture addicts, Colombia enthusiasts.

A wonderful tour - a fantastic mix of culture, history, and beautiful flowers. Santi's friend Nacho was interesting, informative, and funny. Highly recommended.

Santi brought us an especially beautiful tour of Nacho's garden today ... the reds, yellows, whites and purples of the blossoms in the sun brought to mind an impressionist painting, and he was so kind to look for the beautiful postcards views. I can honestly say that Santi's own artistic background adds a wonderful and appreciated element to all his tours. And besides learning the fascinating history of the Silleteros from ultimate storyteller Nacho, we were honored with a glimpse into Nacho's lovely traditional home. Thank you, Santi, for this unique and beautiful tour!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this tour and was pleasantly surprised. It was better than I could have hoped. Nacho is a lovely man and did such a good job explaining things to us. Thank you for an enjoyable tour.
