About the tour

In this segment, we will get to ask one of Australia's number one trainers- Jake Moller- any fitness-related questions. Best tips to lose weight? Best exercises to do from home? How can I improve my posture? There are literally no limits to what you can ask Jake. He will gladly answer anything. So please have a notepad and pen ready and be prepared for some world-class answers. Jake is a respected Personal Trainer and the Founder/Owner of Mace Fitness. He trains celebrities, professional athletes, upcoming youth athletes, kids and, yes, everyday people! He is a pleasure to chat to and, having worked as a Personal Trainer for almost 20 years, is a wealth of knowledge! There's a reason Australians excel in sport. It's because we have the best trainers 😉


Meet Alexander

Alexander

Alexander wants to live in a world filled with appreciation for other cultures, free travel and guacamole as a global currency (we’re allowed to dream right?!). “Storytelling has always been a passion of mine. Whether it’s in the form of acting, writing or showing people around my captivating city. It feels great to express my passions in so many different ways” Alex says, while sipping on a decaf soy latte (a very common beverage in Melbourne, also known as Australia's coffee capital). Alexander believes that it would be a waste and disservice to his fellow humans to not show them around his backyard (well, not his actual backyard, but you get the picture). He’s dedicated to sharing his city’s beauty and history, and once and for all proving to people that kangaroos don’t just bounce around everywhere. Alexander has been running tours for the last 4 years, with his most popular tour being Melbourne’s Hidden Penguins (there you go, saved you a trip to Antarctica!). When he is not touring, Alexander works as an actor, filmmaker and blog writer.


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Melbourne with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 60 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Melbourne. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.


Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The star of the show clearly is Jake, Alex´s brother and a personal trainer in Melbourne. Jake did an amazing job answering to all of our questions in an understandable, easy way, taking personal limitations into account and adapting to the person asking the question. He is very natural in front of the camera and his enthusiasm and knowledge is very present. Thanks very much, Alex and Jake. It was so helpful finding exercises to help with ACL recovery. I stupidly tried to help neighbours who were having a "domestic", when they both fell on me. The snapping sound will stay with me forever. 😲☹️.
