About the tour

Join Emma on a unique trip through the fjord region of Western Norway. This part of Norway is famous for its wide, deep fjords and steep, snow-capped mountains. Each HeyGo tour will take you to a different part of fjord country: from national parks to small villages and 1000-year-old farms. We will learn about how people survived here hundreds of years ago and how the region is trying to rebrand itself in an effort to stop people moving away. We’ll also learn about what exactly a fjord is, and what kind of nature we can find here.

A relaxing stroll around with Emma as a guide is a pleasure. She is very knowledgeable about Norwegian Fjords, their history and environmental impact as well as their formation. The landscape with its soft, watery, pastel colors is mesmerizing. You'll learn a lot with Emma, because despite her being from Australia she is well informed and keen to share Norway with us.

Beautiful Bergan - absolutely serene. This tour was amazing for several reasons. As well as seeing the landscape and the Fjord in Bergan, we visited Emma's partner's family home/farm on the edge of the water. Pretty much in its original state it was a step back in time. Emma is always chirpy, but this trip had an added touch - Sean her partner spoke off camera - a good start to going public though !!! A great experience Emma, good planning and memorable tour.

Thank you Emma for another unique tour, and very special thanks are due to Sean and your in-laws for allowing us to see into their very special heritage, which is well worth cherishing. (Chris, Marguerite's partner)
