What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Marche with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Marche. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

Very unprofessional. Sorry. This had the feeling of a friend of a friend of a friend saying, "Hey, I know this cool place. Wanna go see it?" 1) Either learn some of those interesting stories or don't mention them at all. Certainly don't say, "I wish Mr. X was here--he has so many interesting stories." 2) Walk the path ahead of time and think about what questions might be asked, and learn the answers. Don't keep repeating, "Honey, what's that?" 3) Details matter. Don't say, "I've been here x number of times doing xzy but I don't remember the name of the resident cat. Or if there are any fish in there and if so, what they are." Don't say that plans just kept coming as the owner developed the place--know what they were and be able to explain them clearly or don't mention it at all. Etc. 4) It was a beautiful location. It would've been great to learn more about the history and culture, not just to be told how beautiful it was. I understand that you're just starting out as a tour guide, but I think you should put more effort into doing a professional job instead of the friend of a friend approach. I was quite disappointed.

this was my first virtual tour and had some trouble learning how to ask a question or to reply.....I saw that my daughter was able to answer yes about the frogs so I will be asking her so I know what to do next time I tour. My husband was from Italy and died before our planned trip.....so sad. Loved seeing a part of the country. thank you. could not leave a tip without the proper credit card/// mine was comprimized and the bank has told me not to use the card online. Sorry. hugs Ellen S.
