Join me as I take you to see the unusual temple of Khnum in Esna located 55km South of Luxor. This small temple hosts some amazing history as well as breathtaking colours, all located way below ground level and over looked by Esna village.
Saffy is an Egyptian local who has been guiding tours throughout the country for over 8 years. His passion for the social lives of ancient Egyptians and its influence on our daily lives shines through in his tours, which have an enchanting sense of curiosity, mystique, and warmth at their centre. Join him for a tour, and start exploring the wonders of Egypt at his side.
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Luxor with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Luxor. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

So interesting to see a temple I wasn't aware of, and to see how deep it had been buried, with just the roof visible! Saffy's tours are great.

The site of Esna is one of my favourite in the whole of Egypt so to see it and wallow in its history, colour and design was a pleasure. Saffy has a lovely but quiet relaxing voice so you might need to raise your volume - or like me - listen more intently.
