About the tour

Join me for a walk through the beautiful Dupont Circle neighborhood featuring some of Washington's 175 embassies. While embassies are scattered around the city, a significant number are focused in this neighborhood. You will see approximately a dozen embassies in a small area of historic buildings. Learn who some of the famous neighbors of past and present have been. I'll explain the history of diplomacy in the United States and why these particular buildings were selected to house embassies. To begin our international stroll, meet me at the Spanish Steps of Washington.

Terry did a good job under difficult circumstances, strong winds and equipment problems. She does great research and I learned about the different embassies and residences, etc., plus it was wonderful to see such a beautiful area of the nation's capitol city. Just a suggestion, please stop asking "OK?" or "all right?" after every sentence.I definitely will look for more of Terry's tours.
