About the tour

The city of naples has been the set of many important films, TV series and successful books: among them stands out My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante! Join an authorized guide, a professional archaeologist and a big fan of Elena Ferrante who is eager to show you the places traveled by the two protagonists: Lila and Lenù. You will start from the Liceo di Lenù and walk through the alleys of the historical centre of Naples and will walk by the beautiful Galleria Principe di Napoli where the two friends eat the typical Neapolitan ice cream! This walk is a mix of art, archeology and beautiful monuments. You will enter in some fabulous buildings and you will see a side of Naples that is completely unknown and away from tourists.

Raffaele's idea to tie his walk to literature/TV was very clever. His descriptions are always vivid with lots of history. I love it when he is able to go into a church to share the interior beauty.

Very interesting tour. I bought the Elena Ferrante books straight after the tour.
