About the tour

St. Louis of Senegal 🇸🇳 is the first city created by the French in West Africa. The city's location on an island at the mouth of the Senegal River, its regular urban plan, its system of quays and its characteristic colonial architecture give Saint-Louis its special quality and identity. I suggest a carriage ride to discover in 2 turns the parts (north and south) of this magnificent city, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2000. Welcome aboard my horse-drawn carriage.

I've been very lax recently in posting reviews, not because there were problems but lack of time. Alioune's tours are always very interesting, informative and different. On the 2 tours of St Louis we saw both the south and north areas of this UNESCO World Heritage town. Some renovation has already taken place but because not all is done we were privileged to see both before and after. The before has a lovely charm about it and the after shows how it will look in the future when all renovated. Such wonderful tours, Alioune. You are a great guide and ambassador for your country.
