About the tour

Although Emperor Khải Định was considerably disliked by the Vietnamese, his mausoleum the second most visited sights in Hue, just right after the Imperial City. Built with fancy materials such as Chinese ceramic and porcelain ornaments, this tomb is extremely elegant. The place is also well-known for its remarkable blend of European, Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese architectural characteristics which are said to originate from Khải Định’s trips to France where he was fascinated by the technique and patterns of the buildings he saw. Join Spring and Hieu on their last day of the series to admire the beauty of such an ancient mausoleum and listen to historical stories that only locals like them know. Spring and Hieu are pretty fun to hang out with and can make you laugh and relax just a little. They love their job and can do it for 60 years so when you come to Saigon, you can catch up with them and have a nice cafe together :) You will love Saigon even more after this trip, add color to your postcard collection and learn about the Vietnamese way of life! ✏ Please keep in mind that this is a slow pace tour, it's not adventurous like their scooter ride in Ho Chi Minh city. ✏ Be bold and ask the couple every question that pops up in your mind!! Spring and Hieu want to make this tour as interactive as possible so answering your questions creates joy in their hearts. ✏ Stay open-minded. Just a little bit is good ♥

Meet Spring Vietnam Tours

Spring Vietnam Tours

Spring and Hiếu (pronounced almost like Hugh) are a couple who have been leading tours for more than 5 years in Vietnam. Since team up with Heygo, they have decided to live stream the whole country by traveling to a different city every month. These live streaming tours are a condensed version of Vietnam's untold history and culture from their Vietnamese perspective. They both love history, history made them realize how grateful they are to have a better life than their people did. They have it 1000 times easier than their older folks did. For them, Vietnamese people were the strongest, smartest, and most courageous people back then. Book their virtual trip and you just might feel the same. They are always finding new ways to do it better than last time! Spring and Hiếu are here to give you value and make you relax a little. When not guiding, Spring loves lifting weights, listening to K-pop, and watching Korean dramas. Hieu loves doing yoga taught by his teacher Sadhguru and reading.

Hieu and Spring (together or separately) are excellent tour guides. Hieu did a great job of running this tour on his own, wangled us an invitation to go inside the building and see some of the beautiful craftsmanship on every surface, and explained the history and some of the background to why this king wasn't the most popular. A fascinating visit to an awe-inspiring place.

Amazing tour at the imperial palace of Hue. A revelation about Vietnam's history and monuments, and also a beautiful view of the surrounding nature!
