About the tour

Gateway to France in West Africa, the city of St. Louis bears witness to an important exchange of values, which has influenced the development of education, culture, crafts and especially the art. Today even more than yesterday, artistic creations in the city are diverse and varied: carpenters-cabinetmakers, sculptors, basket makers, dyers, specialized jewelers etc... There is something for everyone. In this world of African art, my crush leads us to a sculptor specializing in the transformation of several types of wood and whose works are proudly exhibited in his workshop-gallery. A beautiful demonstration of sculpture before visiting the workshop.
