About the tour

¿Conoces la diferencia entre un graffiti y un mural? ¿Sabías que Buenos Aires es una ciudad con muy pocas restricciones con respecto al arte callejero, y por eso muchos artistas internacionales vienen a pintar acá? Ubicado en el barrio residencial de Colegiales, el Mercado de las Pulgas era originalmente un mercado de frutas y verduras de los años ´20. Sus muros exteriores están cubiertos de graffitis y murales realizados por artistas argentinos e internacionales que participaron del festival internacional de Street Art “Meeting of Styles” en el año 2011. Este tour es un recorrido por este arte colorido y variado, descubriendo a los artistas, sus estilos y sus motivaciones. “Antes consideraba el 'arte callejero' como simples manchas de color, pero las interpretaciones de Grace, dando los motivos, las explicaciones y la historia detrás de cada uno, me han dado una nueva perspectiva. Tour with Grace

Grace is a Tour Guide and Graphic Designer. Born in Buenos Aires, she has also lived in the US and Israel, and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Hebrew. Passionate about all forms of art, Grace has been a dancer and choreographer and has worked in the artistic production of international music concerts. She has vast experience with multicultural groups. Her background in Graphic Design lead her to specialize in Street Art, showing tourists and locals the murals and graffitis that cover the walls of Buenos Aires and telling the stories behind this fabulous art form. She also enjoys creating unconventional tours in and around Buenos Aires. During the COVID Pandemic she has created webinars and virtual tours for schools, organizations and private clients.


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Buenos Aires with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Buenos Aires. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
