When we talk about India, one of the things which India is really famous for is its flavorful and diverse food. Often we have misconceptions about Indian cooking and food like it is really time consuming and difficult, requires a lot of different ingredients, can't be done on your own or that it is very hot. On this tour, your host, Komal would be changing lot of perceptions about Indian cooking, India in general and you will be learning how to cook real authentic Indian food from your own home as you follow along step by step together . We would be preparing one of the most famous dishes, Palak Paneer which is Spinach and cottage cheese..If you dont like cottage cheese, go for Tofu or boiled potatoes as an option. Here are the required ingredients: Spinach ( Half Kg) Tofu/cottage cheese/boiled potatoes ( 250 gm) 2 medium size onion 4 tomatoes, 1 inch grated ginger, 1 green chilli Salt, dry coriander powder, red chilli powder, Garam Masala, cumin seeds, hing powder(asafoetida) Your host for this tour, Komal would be there to spread the flavours and aromas of Indian food and spices into your kitchen and change your perceptions through her easy to follow recipes. You can ask any questions about Indian customs, culture, cuisines or local Delhi life which she will be more than happy to answer. Excellent Paneer dish for me. I tasted this dish with purchase of East Indian Co. TV dinner in US. It was vegetarian and different than most American style. Thanks.
