About the tour
Denmark, the land of feisty females. It's also one of the best places in the world to be a woman. There are some iconic Scandi superstars and role models to meet on this tour of Copenhagen with our entertaining guide, Heather, who’ll be dressed for the part. You'll meet a number of the country's leading historical ladies on your walk. As we stroll along the sparklingly clean harbour front we will stop to see the statues of the Little Mermaid, the Norse Goddess Gefion, and the Caribbean rebel-rouser 'Queen Mary'. After a historical dip, Heather will bring us back to the present day with a fondly candid look of Amalienborg Palace, the graciously appointed home of the popular current Danish monarch, Queen Magrethe ll.

Heather
We call Heather a guide but she has so many skills it feels like a single label isn't enough! It’d be more accurate to call her a guide, storyteller, journalist, artist, historian, and novelist. But then that would be a long title. Packing her personality and the colorful history of Denmark all into an exciting tour can only mean a boatful of fun and entertainment. Join her as she shares her love of Copenhagen and her infectious humor with you!

What to expect
Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Copenhagen with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing guide.
The tour will last about 40 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Copenhagen. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
Why are they tip-supported?
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.
Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.

This was my very first trip here. My best friend invited me to virtually visit Copenhagen with her as we cannot travel together due to the pandemic. It was great! Heather is a wonderful guide. She's very knowledgeable about the sights she showed us. What makes her an excellent guide for me is that you can actually feel the love and enthusiam for "her" city. This was so catching that I'd like to visit Copenhagen in person some time in the future.
