About the tour

This walk will take in the beautiful scenic town of Cobh, the last port of call for the Titanic before setting sail on her fateful maiden voyage. We will take in the stunning views of Cork harbour (second largest natural harbour in the world) and take a short visit to the outside of Cobh cathedral. Lusitania, Titanic, Annie Moore, emigration, and modern Cobh's place in maritime life. A second more specific tour of the Cathedral will be added shortly.

Meet Christopher Hennessy

Christopher Hennessy

Christopher has spent many years giving impromptu tours to locals and visitors from abroad. On many occasions people have suggested that he should set up a tour company and show people the secret side of Cork. Well it seems that you, dear guest, will have a chance to sample some of the beauty and secret locations in and around Cork city. Guiding people around Cork is just one of the many hats that Christopher wears. He is also a successful musician and teacher, a director, and actor. We're sure that you will find this charming Irishman a delight as he shows you his beautiful city.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Cork with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
