May 5th is a date of great importance in the history of Mexico because that was the day the Mexican army achieved what no one thought possible -- they defeated the most experienced army in the world. On this historical tour, you will visit where the Battle of Puebla took place as you learn about the battle's history and enjoy the beautiful views from the Acueyametepec hill.
Ernie has been a certified guide for 3 years now and offers walking and virtual tours in the cities where he has lived in Mexico, such as Mexico City, Puebla, Aguascalientes and Guanajuato, however it is also possible for him to create new experiences from scratch by offering unique tours and experiences. Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Puebla with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Puebla. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

Only followed Ernie for a few minutes as I could not hear much of what he was saying, mainly due to the wind is my best guess.

Ernie was great, my kids watched along with me and really enjoyed the tour. Some other clients kept complaining about the wind and sound quality, it's near impossible to stop that while giving a tour outside those people need to relax and not nitpick
