I am not a huge fan of ceramics but having done most of Renan's tour I gave it a chance and wooow...completely surprised! It was very interesting to learn how height affects clay and the process of making ceramics (La Paz is one of the highest cities in the world by altitude). Also how different climate conditions affect the vibrancy of colours and their methodologies to work with the atmospheric conditions. If you love art or chemistry or even just Latin American culture I highly recommend this tour. You will leave learning so much more than art.

Renan’s tour to Mario Sarabia was a wonderful experience. We watched a master ceramic artist at work, who told us about his background and explaining his technique. He then showed us around his gallery of gorgeous ceramic pieces of art. Renan was very good about conveying viewers’ questions to Mario. I can highly recommend this beautiful and interesting tour.

As a potter I so appreciated the tour of ceramic artist Mario Sarabia. Seeing his beautiful work and hearing his explanations were wonderful. And Renan did a great job showing us around and relaying our questions. You could tell he has much respect for Sarabia.
