About the tour

Open your eyes wide, you are on one of the most impressive sites in the region. Overlooking an emerald sea, beaten by the winds, Cap Fréhel enchants by its beauty and its shimmering colours. Its cliffs, sheer as walls, are home to hundreds of nesting birds. From the Pointe du Grouin to the island of Bréhat, the cape also offers 400 hectares of moorland, among the largest in Europe, and a majestic 103-metre lighthouse. Overlooking the sea by more than 70 metres, the schist and pink sandstone cliffs of Cap Fréhel offer one of the most beautiful views in Brittany. An exceptional site, an ornithological reserve, between gorse and heather. Warning: A "cape" is by definition the end of the world, so the signal may be very weak or non-existent, I may have to restart the stream during the tour, or sometimes have a slightly blurred image. I understand if this does not satisfy you, and in this case it is better not to follow the tour to avoid a disillusionment. On the other hand, if you want to try the adventure, be patient and you will discover a wonder of nature.

Meet Patrick Herpe

Patrick Herpe

Patrick isn't one to shy away from travel and adventure. "I was lucky enough to travel the world with my job, discover different cultures, and meet incredible people!" he says, after having explored multiple cities across Europe and Asia. On his tours, you may catch more than a surprise or two about Paris. "In fact, it is an everyday experience. I'm a native Parisian, but every day, I continue to discover new things, new secrets about Paris. It's a never-ending story," he laughs. It was his love for Paris that led him to become a guide. "I'm a father and a teacher, and I realized that my passion was to share my knowledge, so I decided to be a guide about one of my passion: Paris!" Patrick chips in. "I enjoy sharing the love and passion I have for my own city, Paris. Its monuments, its history, its gastronomy, its culture, and all of its little secrets. I can't wait to share all of these with you!" "At the end of my tour I always give a virtual bise - two in fact being a good Parisian!" he laughs.
