About the tour

In the heart of the Bulgarian capital, there is a small area where religions co-exist demonstratively well together. A mosque, a synagogue and a catholic cathedral keep company to an Eastern Orthodox church. All of them - active religious temples and cultural monuments at the same time. In peace and harmony. How is this possible? We, Bulgarians, are known to be stubborn, wooden heads, with a very high level of confidence in our own opinion. But we can also be curious, and good friends, and have a strong sense of neighbourhood. Let me show you where these qualities of ours are hidden in plain sight.
