Meet FabianBA

FabianBA

Almost a decade ago, Fabian kickstarted his career as a tour guide after leaving a cushiony corporate role as an HR Manager. Since then, he has enjoyed spinning exciting stories to travelers and taking them through one of the most European cities of Latin America. Through his lens, you will discover the city that's home to the widest avenue, the widest river, and brimming with people who love football. Buenos Aires was a British colony for a little over a month, but it carries with it a hint of different cultures. "Argentineans are Italians who speak Spanish but they think they live in France!" Fabian laughs. Through his tours, you might hear him sing a tango (or humming to U2’s “With or Without You”), learn a couple of magic tricks (fun fact: he's an amateur magician!), and check out yerba mate, a super healthy herbal tea that's a local popularity. "Being a tour guide is a bit like a teacher, and I enjoy telling stories. Buenos Aires is full of stories, bizarre, strange, hard to believe stories," he says.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Buenos Aires with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Buenos Aires. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Up close and impressive art taken to the streets, where change and memorial are side by side.

I originally did this tour back in January and enjoyed it enough to want to do it again. Plus, my connection was better this time around (my fault not his). As always, Fabian gave a great tour and it was fun to see the same pieces of art plus some I didn't notice the first time around. Great job!!

I adore seeing a city or region through the eyes of a passionate citizen. Fabian was so respectful and caring in describing the amazing murals and street art. Thank you... I learned many things and love seeing the "voice" of the artists.
