During this live tour of the Buda Castle, Adam will walk you through the key sites of the Buda Castle hill neighbourhood during the twilight a/o early evening hours. We'll start with the views of Pest followed by Alexander Palace, aka the Presidential Palace and we'll also have the chance to have a glimpse of the Buda Castle too. During the second part of the tour, Adam will walk down the medieval streets of the castle's residential area to reach one of the most famous sites of Hungary: the Matthias church, surrounded by the iconic Fisherman's bastion. As a perfect frame to this tour, we'll finish with taking in the breathtaking views Pest, but this time overlooking the House of Parliament building. During the walk we'll cover various topics about Hungary such as the country's history, the Hungarian gastronomy, and so much more! And don't forget: this is an evening tour, so most of the sites will be illuminated with floodlights!
Working as a tourist guide was not my first career choice, but it seems to be the right choice. For a while I followed a sort-of standard path: getting my bachelor, and my masters degree and started to work for a multinational company. Meanwhile my interest towards my hometown kept growing to the point that my friends convinced me to return to school and get my licence to become a tourist guide. As the saying goes: the rest is history. I have been in the business since 2011 and regardless of all the hardship, difficulties, uncertainty I still have passion for my profession. Which I hope will be obvious for you once you take a tour with me in Budapest, or in the Hungarian countryside. By joining a tour with me you will get two in one: a professional, licenced guide and an amateur urban photography enthusiast. Both are very handy when it comes to live, virtual tours. You can expect great angles, excellent postcard opportunities and a dry sense of humour during my tours as I strongly believe in entertaining while educating. Kind regards

Another great tour conducted by Adam. I love that I always learn something new from Adam and this tour is not an exception. His sense of humor made the tour really enjoyable. Great narrative and good photo angles ;). Thanks Adam for putting Budapest on my bucket list :). Highly recommend!

Buda castle and the surrounding area is so beautiful - especially so in "blue hour" with the lighting! Adam also gets you the best views and spots to take postcards whilst listening to the history and culture of the place - mixed with his wonderful humour too! Always back for more... !

This has to be the third or fourth time I’ve done the Buda Castle, why? Because charismatic Adam ensures they are never the same route, he tells the history again whilst facts are correct he simply ‘varies’ it. Add into this the weather/time conditions even if it was totally the same these would always be different! Did the tour a week ago, when sky was really ‘blue’, last night it wasn’t, but none the less beautiful and Adam and his ‘angles’ always gets us the best shots. It was interesting last night to see Adam get emotional re the ‘transformation’ planned for the ‘village’ within Budapest, having heard him talk about it in the past, fully understand his concerns. Adam is a joy to tour with!
