About the tour

You’ve already seen Orthodox and Catholic part of Medieval Lviv. And now I will take you to show my favourite one - Armenian neighbourhood and main city avenue. Nowadays almost all the houses here become the architectural monuments and carry traces of different architectural styles. You are welcome to see the modern art gallery, famous local cafe, church yard of the Armenian cathedral and magnificent Opera House. I hope you will like our lovely city and you will be inspired one day to see those streets offline

Meet Olena Dvorkina

Olena Dvorkina

Olena is a local licensed guide in Lviv, Western Ukraine. While not a true Lviv citizen, being born in the South of Ukraine near Black Sea, Olena is still totally in love with the amazing city of Lviv! Her career as a guide started in 2015 when she was a part of Leopolis Jazz Fest, one of the most existing Lviv festivals. Since then, she has given more than 1,000 city tours for over 6,000 people from around the world. Olena strongly believes that Lviv is a unique city, not just in Ukraine, but in all of Europe. It's something like a hidden treasure, or as her friends might say: a European city with Ukrainien soul. Architecture, taste cuisine, beautiful language, local traditions and unforgettable atmosphere. One experience in Lviv with Olena and you'll never forget it!

Olena was excellent. her knowledge of English was good and her knowledge of the city was interesting too but what a shame the background noises drowned her speech so often. Is there a way of blocking them or making them less invasive? A very interesting trip and I hope to go there one day.

Delightful tour with Olena. An area of the city not so often visited as the centre. Thank you to Olena and the Heygo team.

The Guides presentation might be enhanced by improving her communication, ie., subtitles or word for word transmission. At times, I could not understand her words. The scenery shown was beautiful.
