Starting at the main square and exploring some historic streets, you will have a hint of the heart and capital of Colombia: Bogota. Prepare to be both amused and amazed by government buildings, street vendors, performers, and the stunning mountains facing the city. You will hear stories and facts about the internal conflict of Colombia, and explore a bit of the everyday life of the people of the massive city of Bogotá.
Born and raised in Bogotá, Sergio has always been passionate about traveling and discovering realities different from his own. He has a bachelor's degree in cinema and alternates his time between filming, photographing, and guiding. Sergio has worked as a tour guide in Colombia and five other South American countries, traveling with groups of tourists for up to several weeks at a time. He loves to share his views about Bogotá and Colombia with a fresh perspective that makes his tours informative and entertaining. Get ready, with Sergio you will see the city through the eyes of a local who is mostly interested in culture, art, politics, and economics.
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Bogota with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Bogota. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

Interesting to find out about the demos from someone who lives there, instead of reporters . Shame the buildings were covered, but good to know they try to protect them from rioters. Sergio did a good job under the circumstances.
