About the tour

Could Nazare be home to the 100-foot wave? Come see for yourself because the last big swell of the season is here! Join me as I walk through the village of Nazaré for an unforgettable 360º view of the Silver Coast of Portugal including legendary surf spot Praia do Norte, home to the Guinness World Record of the largest wave ever surfed! But of course, that's not all. Legends of devils in disguise, relics from biblical times, and a murderess named Maria. All this and more set against a gorgeous backdrop of the historic fishing town turned world-famous big wave surf spot. Sea-salted lips included!

Thanks Amylee for such beautiful stroll in this spectacular seaside community. It brought back so many wonderful memories of my trip in 1991 minus all the colourful sun umbrellas lined up like sardines all along the beach. Today was a great opportunity to see the pristine landscape without distractions. Muito obrigada fellow Torontonian.
