About the tour

On top of the esquiline hill there is a major basilica, the one of Saint Mary the Major erected in 435 A.D when a miracle took place in Rome. The miracle of the snow. We will see together the Major basilica of Rome dedicated to our Virgin lady, we will see the reluctance coming from Jerusalem, precious mosaics and the famous icon called “Salus Populi Romani” brought by pope Francis in Saint Peters square during the last Urbi er Orbi blessing on March 15, 2020. Then after the visit of the church we will see the main train station of Rome and the remains of the first city walls built by the Romans in the 6 century B.C Don’t miss it

What to expect
