This is your chance to ask Alexander from Melbourne anything that comes to your mind about Melbourne, Alexander's personal life or just life in general. It's a nice, casual chat in which we get to know each other and Alexander answers any questions you have. This can take place anywhere; from the comfort of Alexander's home, at a cafe, bar/restaurant, or just strolling by the beach! You just won't know unless you join!! See you then!
Alexander wants to live in a world filled with appreciation for other cultures, free travel and guacamole as a global currency (we’re allowed to dream right?!). “Storytelling has always been a passion of mine. Whether it’s in the form of acting, writing or showing people around my captivating city. It feels great to express my passions in so many different ways” Alex says, while sipping on a decaf soy latte (a very common beverage in Melbourne, also known as Australia's coffee capital). Alexander believes that it would be a waste and disservice to his fellow humans to not show them around his backyard (well, not his actual backyard, but you get the picture). He’s dedicated to sharing his city’s beauty and history, and once and for all proving to people that kangaroos don’t just bounce around everywhere. Alexander has been running tours for the last 4 years, with his most popular tour being Melbourne’s Hidden Penguins (there you go, saved you a trip to Antarctica!). When he is not touring, Alexander works as an actor, filmmaker and blog writer.
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Melbourne with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Melbourne. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

Fantastic! Thank you for all you do sharing Melbourne Australia with us. I have enjoyed all your tours and recently just learned how to relax through meditation with you as a guide. What else can I say - very grateful 😀

I love this type of tours because it offers a chance to get to know the guide behind the camera and gimbal. And these Ask Me Anything sessions are always so fun because they are so interactive. We found out what makes him tick - things he likes, things he doesn't, what matters to him, but moreover, we realise how great human being he is who is just so pure, genuine and generous. It was also great to learn about Melbourne Speakeasy bars!! Plus more fun watching him doing the Tim Tam slam dunk. I really admire all the creative ideas he comes up with for his tours. Ahh so fun!

Brilliant tour idea! This is something truly special and ingenious for a Guide to do! A chance to get to know more about our amazing Heygo Guides and an opportunity to ask all those pressing questions we have about visiting a new city. Each tour is different & unique. Surprised other Heygo Guides haven't doing these types of tours.

Alexander is simply delightful. He is a positive man with energy, passion, and enthusiasm galore. I love any tour he does because it means time spent with somebody very special. You should see him do the Tim Tam Slam! Plus, he can sing!
