About the tour

With their fun, interactive and informative tour style, Micky and Adry will teach you how to make the most famous Italian pasta sauce, but this time with the artichokes twist! A typical Italian dish tutorial, seasoned with curious stories about Italy's cooking traditions and tricks only certified Italians can offer! For this recipe, all the phases will be shown along the tour. For the process make sure to join the tour on time since each step will be explained live! And if you wish to cook live with us equipe yourself with: INGREDIENTS (For 1 person) - 100 gr. Paccheri (or mezze maniche/rigatoni/spaghetti) - 1 whole egg - 1 yolk (1 each more person) - 1 artichoke - 20 gr. Pecorino cheese per person (6 US tsp) - 40 gr. Bacon or cheek lard per person (1.40 US OZ) - 1/4 onion or shallot - 1/4 glass of white wine - Pepper to taste - Salt to taste


Meet Micky & Adry

Micky & Adry

Adriano is an English and Spanish teacher and has Italian/Argentine heritage. He has been a TV host for a cooking show and he's an actor as well. Michela is a dancer/choreographer, singer and performer. She is also a craft projects ninja and she comes from a family of opera singers. Longstanding friends for 20 years now, the pair met at high school and have shared a love for languages and travel ever since! They are looking forward to welcoming you to Rome and showing you not only the sights but what it's like to be a local in this fabulous city!


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Rome with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 40 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Rome. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.


Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
